I hadn't been in years so i took my partner to the hollybush inn yesterday for dinner and it did not disappoint. The service was fantastic and the food was absolutely beautiful. Only issue what wasnt the restaurants fault was it was extremely noisy to the point i couldn't make out what my partner was saying but worth it for the quality of the food

My wife and I got into town a little later than expected and stopped by not long before close to ask if we could still grab dinner. The staff were more than happy to accommodate us and were very friendly. When I mentioned a dietary restriction I have, the waitress went out of her way to make sure everything I ordered would be ok for me to eat and even offered alternatives. I was extremely impressed with her attention to detail and care towards her customers. Unfortunately, we're only in town for the one night but I would definitely like to go back in the future.

Amazing food - steak cooked to perfection, and delicious steak & ale pie. Friendly staff, and beautiful views overlooking fields of sheep from the restaurant. Would definitely return if we’re in the area again.

Best food we have had in Scotland.The attention to detail in the food is outstanding. Talented Chef,very welcoming front of house, amazing views, spotless inside and out. A true gem. So pleased we found it. Again amazing food 😋 Another vist a year later, food still the best, top quality ingredients cooked to perfection 👌

Beautiful decor, cosy, friendly atmosphere and food is delicious. Sticky toffee pudding is that good I forgot to take a photo. definetly better now it’s changed hands. Cocktails are amazing. Can make pretty much anything I ask for. Our local. A+++

Called in after passing by and so glad we did.The menu had a great selection of starters mains and dessert.We both had a starter I chose the pate and Mick had the haggis and black pudding fritters and I couldn't believe the size of his plate 😮 I would of been happy with that as a mains and it came with loads of pomme puree ( mash to me) and peppercorn sauce both starters were delicious the mains were fantastic too smoked haddock and Tiger prawn gratin for me and a trio of meats for Mick.Fantastic food great staff definitely be going back next time we're in the area keep up the good work 👏
